Capturing the energy of alluring femininity and subtle seductive edge, Yigal Azrouël’s ever confident muse captivates with a cool irresistibility in modern silhouettes, exotic fabrications, and dark hues that pack an effortless sophistication for the season. Thoughtful construction and complex detail are found in woven dresses, pleated shirting, accentuated bodices and flared skirts. An array of multidimensional fabrics, including python suede, lux engineered knits, leopard printed twill, sumptuous jacquards and embroidered laces in exotic motifs add elegant depth.
"Snake, croc, leopard. This season, Yigal Azrouël put a new spin on fashion’s favorite high-luxe hides, reinterpreting the patterns in various ways. Leopard got the boldest treatment. He extrapolated [the] leopard motif into three-dimensional silk jacquard, lace embroidery, and stud embellishments that tattooed tangoing leopards on the back of one of the designer’s signature motorcycle jackets. The snake story, meanwhile, was of texture. Azrouël laser-cut a snakeskin-like pattern into leather pieces such as a sand-toned bomber, and distilled some snakiness into the texture of a few of his silks. The effect added to the overall tactility of this lineup, which boasted pleasing touches of velvet and velour, not to mention liberal helpings of guipure lace."

"A darkly alluring collection that captured hints of exoticism with animal motifs throughout. Azrouël whipped up the modern silhouettes he’s known for — a chic jumpsuit here, a leather motorcycle jacket there — updating each one with delicate silver studding, velvet or embroidered lace and python-embossed suede trim. The best looks had built-in layering elements for polished yet effortless dressing — as in a pleated black dress with a cinched waist and a sheer, geometric-print T-shirt attached underneath."
