The Yigal Azrouël Fall 2022 Collection showcases Azrouël’s commitment to bringing architectural shapes, deconstructed materials, and an effortlessly chic style to the modern woman. Inspired, designed, and manufactured in the center of New York, Azrouël’s proportions, compositions, and original creations reflect the current pulse of the city.

The collection features dresses with an abstract storm psychedelic color scheme, combining unexpected colors. The colors represent their own individuality while being unequivocally united. This collection displayed trench coats made from embossed vinyl, shell hand-knitted tops, and paper bag patchwork pants with ice blue Japanese twill fabrics with contrast color stitches. Azrouël also showcases his affinity for fabric manipulation details by including coated Italian black leather fishnets. 

Azrouël’s new collection continues his love for mixed draping and abstract proportions. His dresses feature feminine drapes in the front, architectural sides, and an open back. This collection challenges the concept of juxtaposition, the details of positive and negative space, structured and soft drape, and trims of hardware and software. His suits use contrasting removable sheared sleeves and relaxed pants. The outerwear plays on various textures and is deconstructed oversized, yet exudes the idea of balancing femininity and masculinity. 

The collection uses all sustainable fabrications, including Japanese crate suited fabric, Italian gabardine, and recycled fur for Azrouël’s signature bomber jackets. It isn’t easy to be 100% fully sustainable. However, sustainability is a choice. And no matter how small, we can have a significant impact on making our society just a little more eco-conscious. Multiple little steps will be more impactful than one big step.
